The rest of fall...

October

These pictures are from our dear friends' daughters birthday party.  I cannot believe Miss Chloe Keasling is already 6!  Our kids will be in high school before we know it:(

Chloe wanted her friends to bring their costumes to wear.  At one point Joden decided he wanted to wear his costume and he busted out in some Spiderman moves!  It was pretty funny!

Coffee date with two of my favorite people!

This is one of my favorite pictures!  When the weather was nice the door would be propped open at gymnastics and Reeve always wanted to watch the big girls.  She would get mad at me because I would tell her we need to go home:)

Dinner at Texas Roadhouse-yum!

Each year we have tried to go to a pumpkin patch with the kids.  This year we went to Helgoth's again and had a blast.  The day started out chilly, but turned out amazing!

As many people have heard I am working on my doctorate and this is a picture I took of my attempt to organize my research during the writing of my comprehensive exam.  Luckily I passed my exam and all that remains is a dissertation.  With what I have already accomplished I know I can do this!!

While staying with grandpa and gramie, the kids got to ride a horse:)

I know I am biased, but I truly think she is so sweet:)  I LOVE her so much!

This year we tried something new, which was riding the Halloween train at Stolley Park.  The kids enjoyed it!

Joden had some funky eyes for several days....luckily he had no other symptoms, therefore I did not have to stay home!  Knock on wood, our kids have not had to stay home 1 day since they started the Y in July-that is pretty amazing!

Mike is much more artistic than me, so he always is the pumpkin carver.  The weather was awesome so we carved our pumpkin on the porch.  Can you believe Mike was wearing shorts and the kids were in short sleeves??

Halloween 2013

Luckily Joden was fine with wearing a costume he already had and Reeve picked out hers at Walmart:)  We Trick-or-Treated in our neighborhood and then actually went to Doniphon to a football game so we could watch the kids' sitter, Ella, dance dressed like a Zombie.  It was a great Halloween!

November
Mike and I took Joden to see Tarzan, which was put on by Grand Island Senior High.  This is the face I got when I asked him to take a picture:)  He really did enjoy the show and did a pretty good job sitting still.  I thought it was a great show!

Miss Reeve is all about her baby dolls.  If you cannot tell she is pushing her baby around in her stroller and carrying the babies backpack on her back.  Sometimes she tells us she is headed to one of her grandparents' house:)

First of all gotta love her crazy hair:)  Second of all can you tell she is in gymnastics?  It is really neat as a parent when you start seeing the gymnastic moves show up at home!

These two really do a lot together.  Lately they have been fighting more, but due to being so close in age, they will really be such great friends over the years!  They love each other so much:)

Mike is really working on training Reeve to be a hunter, since mommy is not:)  So, Reeve is learning how to hold the gun up and explain that she is shooting a buck.

Hulk, aka: Reeve!

We attended Disney on Ice in Kearney at the Viaero Events Center.  It was AWESOME!  The kids really enjoyed it and so did Mike and I.  We got to see Lion King, Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, and Peter Pan.

Mike and I went Christmas shopping this year with our great friends the Keaslings.  We went to Lincoln and enjoyed lunch at Mellow Mushroom in the new haymarket area.  It was delicious!  We did some damage, as we filled the back of the Durango with shopping bags!

Trying to entertain the kids during Mike's month long stretch of deer hunting, which left us home a lot.  Joden wanted to play duck-duck-goose.  Due to lack of participants, I suggested grabbing some other animals around the house to help out.  If an animal was touched I got up and ran around the circle with the animal:)  Being a parent allows me to act like a crazy lady at times!

Two things Reeve LOVES:  her baby dolls and her sunglasses!  She melts my heart:)

Thanksgiving 2013
We devoted our Thanksgiving this year to Mike's family and will spend Christmas with mine.  This is the first time in a long time that we had every single person on Mike's side there.  It was AWESOME!!  We ended up taking all of our Christmas gifts with us so that we could see Mike's family open them.  It felt a bit strange, but I appreciated everyone being flexible so that we could see them open their gifts!

Cousins!

Chef Mike

Aunt Heather got the boys some cool super hero shoes!

The kids eating their Thanksgiving dinner!

Brothers

Mike insisted we buy his dad a HUGE snickers:)

All the adults at meal time, minus me the photographer!

Mike's three sisters: Heather, Shannon, and Kati

My four wonderful sister-n-laws on Mike's side!  They truly are like my own sisters-love you all:)

Let's just say Heather was frustrated with the Pitch tournament!!

Rob's hair appears to look similar:)
