November 2022

November's post is going to be short and sweet because life is crazy right now and that is about all I have time for:)

Two birthdays were celebrated!  Natalie, our niece, turned 18 and Kiki, our dear friend, turned 40.  We enjoyed helping them both embark on milestone birthdays!

Reeve had a dance convention in North Platte.  We went with the Koch girls.  We had fun, but North Platte definitely does not have a lot for us adults to do.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving at my sisters!  The kids are growing up.

Reeve has started basketball season!  I coach her Unlimited team and I sure do love coaching these girls, but we definitely always have room for growth.  The picture on the right was an intramural deal they did for sixth graders.  It was fun to watch her and not coach her.

Got to go on a work trip to Atlanta, GA and enjoyed spending time with these two ladies!  I enjoyed Atlanta, or at least the area we saw:). Grateful for the opportunity to go!

Got our tree up!  The boys were having way to much fun:)

Joden has embarked on a new journey, which is wrestling!  We had no clue what to expect but it has gone pretty well.  It always amazes me how willing he is to try new things that he has never done before.  He has done pretty good, but we know he has a lot to learn too.  Excited to see what the future holds for him!

October 2022

October was a beautiful month!  The weather has been amazing.  We also had lots of fun with friends and family!

I somehow was convinced to run in Market to Market again.  It went better this time, but I still struggled on my last leg.  My legs were just dead!  This group of ladies makes it worth it:)

My family was able to see me finish my last leg, which was definitely motivation to keep going!

Reeve was in the Harvest of Harmony parade for dance.  It was a gorgeous morning and we enjoyed getting to see her!

It was so fun to watch these boys in football this year!  They have come a long ways and picked up some wins this season, which was awesome.

Enjoyed a workout at Heather's with my niece and sister too:)

October date night sure was fun!  Anytime you get to see the Huskers, it's a good time.  Love dating my husband:)

Reeve became really close with a para at her former elementary school.  She also coached her at gymnastics and would give her a ride every week.  She asked Reeve to say the dinner prayer at her wedding.  Reeve did a great job and we enjoyed helping them celebrate their special day!

Mike got us a membership to the Liederkranz during the putt tour, so we decided to check it out with the Borowski's.

Dinner group at our house in October was Halloween themed.  We dressed up in costumes and made Halloween food.  It was a fun time!

Date with Reeve in October was a trip to Kearney for a UNK volleyball game and some sushi.  We had a good time:)

It's time for basketball.  Here is our new team this year and we have some new jerseys.  We are super excited for the season!  I sure do love coaching these girls:)

Happy 3rd birthday to Blair.  We got to help her celebrate!

First middle school dance!  Reeve wanted to have friends over to get ready and eat dinner.  These girls had a blast and got along great.  I am glad we were able to do this!

Dinner group girls were able to sneak away to Omaha to see our dear friend Kelly.  We had a blast!  We sure do miss getting to see Kelly more often in GI.  Can't wait to do this again!

We ended the month hitting up a few houses in our neighborhood with the kids.  Our neighbors were excited to see us and could not believe how big the kids are getting!

September 2022

September has been a fun month!  The weather has been great and we have enjoyed plenty of fun:)

Kids had no school on a Friday during state fair, so we were able to go out on a Thursday night and ride LOTS of rides because it was not that busy!

Mike and I finally purchased property!  This has been a long time coming and something we have dreamed of.  If everything wasn't so expensive we would go ahead and build.  But due to the price of things we are likely waiting a few years.  Below is where we will place our pond and house.

Took a stab at homemade sourdough rolls and they turned out great!  I need to make them again:)

On a whim we got tickets to FloRida at the state fair.  We had never been to a rap concert so we thought we would take advantage of going since it was here in town.  It was honestly okay for us.  It took forever for FloRida to come out and then it got a bit R rated at one point.  We decided it was time for us to go.  Either way, it is always great to spend time together!

The next day we had Quinn's baptism and then spent some time at the river with some of the Schumachers.

Reeve earned student of the week!  Super proud of her and this acknowledgment:)

Enjoyed a fun outing to the Lincoln Zoo for Brew at the Zoo.  We missed Mike's oldest sister, but were grateful that those of us who live out this way were able to go!

We had a staff tailgate at GISH prior to a home football game.  It was a tad chilly/windy, but we had a good time.  Feels good to be working on our climate/culture!

School pictures turned out great for both kiddos!

My seniors are out at practicum and it makes me so happy for them!

Finally got my hair done!  It feels good:)  Cut some long bangs also, which is fun.

Joden's team picked up a win for A team and a tie for B team at Columbus.  The boys wanted a picture after the game:)

Always proud of my boy!

Got to sneak away for a quick overnight date with my girlfriends!  We had a great 24 hours:)

Got home from fun with the girls to enjoy some cards on the patio with my family!

Got to watch the Borowski girls for an overnight date for mom and dad!

Dinner group appetizers and drinks included a quick visit out to the new property!  Can't wait to create more memories here in the near future:)

Kat is doing on the go basketball clinics to create the love of the game!  I have been able to make a few.

The last week has been windy!  This was me at Joden's football game this last week.  I should have totally brought a pony tail!

Met my family for a quick beer for Nick's birthday:)
