So much to be thankful for!

November

Football finished up, so it was time to play some soccer!  He has played this two years prior to this year, therefore it went smoother than football since he had some experience:)  Let's just say he has loved playing goalie and kicking/throwing in the ball.  He runs over to the ref everytime the ball goes out of bounds to ask him if he can kick or throw the ball in.

More storytime at the library!  This time they made puppies:)

One of Joden's good friends, Chloe turned 7 and had a tie-dye party.  They made bandana's and Joden insisted on wearing his for a couple days:)

My niece Anslee.  Love her so much!

Proud dad moment as he got to show Joden and Reeve his buck!  They actually were pretty intrigued rather than grossed out.  Me on the other hand was a tad grossed out when there was a large pool of blood on the garage floor:)

Mike and I have been doing Christmas shopping the last few years as an entire day together.  It is so much fun and this year we decided to end the day with some Husker volleyball!  It sure was a great way to end a tiring day of shopping:)

Laundry time included Joden putting on my sports bra and his dads boxers:)  He is such a goof and I do love that about him.  He often puts a smile on my face and I wouldn't want it any other way!

Mike is so awesome because during our shopping adventure he was very helpful in Hobby Lobby helping me brainstorm what would look good in our planters in front of our house!  He truly has an artistic side and I greatly appreciated his help:)  The planters turned out better than what I had envisioned!

One fun part of Joden being in school this year is when him and I both have days off we get to spend them together because Reeve typically still has preschool.  So we went to basketball practice in the morning and had a lunch date at Qdoba:)  Love my time with him so much!

If you can't tell Joden gets his goofiness from his dad!

Thanksgiving at my sister Lindsey's house in Sidney!  Here are all the kids on my side of the family.  Avery-10, Owen-6, Delayna-6, Joden-5, Reeve-3, Anslee-1 :)

Mike with a mouthful of cheese and my sister Ashley:)

My sisters and I on the top and my parents added in on the bottom.  Mom is now wearing some pretty cute scarfs due to losing her hair.  Also, my dad decided to shave his head to support my mom :)

The kids having a blast on Thanksgiving day!

Mike and Joden were wore out after all that eating!  They definitely resemble one another :)

Anslee LOVED pumpkin pie!

Cousins doing what they should-having fun!

We came home on Friday because I had basketball practice on Saturday.  So, once practice was over we got our tree put up.  Growing up my family always had white lights on the tree and for the first 7 years of our marriage we have done the same.  So, this year we stepped outside the box and did colored lights.  I LOVE how they turned out:)  The kids wanted to help every step of the way....fun, but it is a must to have lots of patience!

It truly was surreal how warm it was on November 29th and that night the sunset was beautiful!  I snapped a few shots in the Kohls parking lot.  What a great end to November:)

October

What a beautiful fall...

We finally bought a new camera to take some better quality pictures, so we were testing it out:)  Love this goofy kid and his fun personality!

Testing out the camera again:)

Got a new rug for the front door and am loving it!

Havest of Harmony parade this year with just Mike and I and the kids!  We had a lot of fun and enjoyed seeing all the bands:)

The next fall activity was an afternoon at the Scarecrow Patch.  Super fun, but this day was really windy!

We got lots of awesome pumpkins out at the pumpkin patch so we came home and decorated our front porch!

Joden's last flag football game was 'under the lights' on the turf.  It was a fun night and a great way to end his first flag football season!

These two LOVE to crawl in our bed at night.  Sometimes it is taken over by them :(  I hate to complain because before long they won't even want to crawl in our beds.  I just LOVE knowing how much they love to be with us:)

I was fortunate enough to go with Joden on his field trip!  It was in his teachers backyard, which was HUGE!  They got to go around to different stations.

Our Saturday routine of story time at the library.  This week happened to be about Eddie the comfort dog, so they made a dog craft!  Joden was panting like a dog:)

Reeve and her best friend Ellie!  They are about 3 months apart and enjoy hanging out together:)  She is a sweetie!

Goofy Joden trying to put his shirt on as pants:)

Jeans day at school for the letter j!

Date night with this hot guy!  We went to a deueling piano event with some friends!

These two were really into their movie for the night!  Thought it was a cute picture:)

We got to help Abby celebrate her wedding weekend!  She has become a good friend of mine here in Grand Island.  We got to know each other because our boys went to the same daycare for about 3 years.  Thanks for including us Abby!

Here is Abby's son Cooper and one of Joden's best friends!

 Reception fun!

One of my favorite pictures captured at Abby's wedding!  Reeve just loved Abby in her princess dress and was really wanting some time with Abby.  She got to talk to her and dance with her-it was so cute:)

Strep throat again :(  This was right after the nasty tasting swab was shoved down his throat!

This is a tree in our front yard.  I just have thought this fall has been one of the most beautiful falls I can remember!

Our sister-n-law Lisa turned 30, so we headed out west for a surprise birthday bash for her!  Of course Reeve and I had to love on Piper :)

The birthday bash was in Denver.  We started at a bowling alley in downtown Denver called 'Lucky Strike'.

Mike's sister Shannon did not go with us so she kept our kids.  They went to a Pumpkin Patch and enjoyed some time at her house:)

Mike is the artist in our family so he is always in charge of carving the pumpkin!  We seem to be so busy these days we squeezed it in right before the first night of soccer.  Also, since we had to rush out the door we forgot to take a final picture :(

Reeve got to dress up for school :)

Our staff got to dress up as a literary character!  I chose Fancy Nancy :)  It was fun, but boy was that boa itchy all day!

Nana sent the kids a card with stickers for Halloween!  Thanks Nana:)

Michelangelo and Rapunzel all ready to trick or treat!  This year was lots of fun-Reeve really got into it.  Joden has always been into it :)

Crazy faces!

Picstitch for the night!  Mummy hot dogs for dinner and a fun-filled night of trick or treating:)
