November
Football finished up, so it was time to play some soccer! He has played this two years prior to this year, therefore it went smoother than football since he had some experience:) Let's just say he has loved playing goalie and kicking/throwing in the ball. He runs over to the ref everytime the ball goes out of bounds to ask him if he can kick or throw the ball in.
More storytime at the library! This time they made puppies:)
One of Joden's good friends, Chloe turned 7 and had a tie-dye party. They made bandana's and Joden insisted on wearing his for a couple days:)
My niece Anslee. Love her so much!
Proud dad moment as he got to show Joden and Reeve his buck! They actually were pretty intrigued rather than grossed out. Me on the other hand was a tad grossed out when there was a large pool of blood on the garage floor:)
Mike and I have been doing Christmas shopping the last few years as an entire day together. It is so much fun and this year we decided to end the day with some Husker volleyball! It sure was a great way to end a tiring day of shopping:)
Laundry time included Joden putting on my sports bra and his dads boxers:) He is such a goof and I do love that about him. He often puts a smile on my face and I wouldn't want it any other way!
Mike is so awesome because during our shopping adventure he was very helpful in Hobby Lobby helping me brainstorm what would look good in our planters in front of our house! He truly has an artistic side and I greatly appreciated his help:) The planters turned out better than what I had envisioned!
One fun part of Joden being in school this year is when him and I both have days off we get to spend them together because Reeve typically still has preschool. So we went to basketball practice in the morning and had a lunch date at Qdoba:) Love my time with him so much!
If you can't tell Joden gets his goofiness from his dad!
Thanksgiving at my sister Lindsey's house in Sidney! Here are all the kids on my side of the family. Avery-10, Owen-6, Delayna-6, Joden-5, Reeve-3, Anslee-1 :)
Mike with a mouthful of cheese and my sister Ashley:)
My sisters and I on the top and my parents added in on the bottom. Mom is now wearing some pretty cute scarfs due to losing her hair. Also, my dad decided to shave his head to support my mom :)
The kids having a blast on Thanksgiving day!
Mike and Joden were wore out after all that eating! They definitely resemble one another :)
Anslee LOVED pumpkin pie!
Cousins doing what they should-having fun!
We came home on Friday because I had basketball practice on Saturday. So, once practice was over we got our tree put up. Growing up my family always had white lights on the tree and for the first 7 years of our marriage we have done the same. So, this year we stepped outside the box and did colored lights. I LOVE how they turned out:) The kids wanted to help every step of the way....fun, but it is a must to have lots of patience!
It truly was surreal how warm it was on November 29th and that night the sunset was beautiful! I snapped a few shots in the Kohls parking lot. What a great end to November:)
