February

Schumachers February 2014

Reeve and I dropped Joden off and a birthday party for two of his preschool friends.  We then had to drive across town and Reeve did not make it :)

 Loving his Spongebob party hat!

Made some yummy crescent roll pizza that night for dinner!

Mike really wanted to have a Broncos party for the Super Bowl.  Sadly it was a major disappointment, but nonetheless we had fun with our friends!

We had the Jakobs, Shermans, Keaslings, Jeno and Barrett, Aunt Kati, and Scott!

Reeve insisted daddy wear her shades!

I decided to take Reeve to the princess party, which was held out at Doane College.  She got to go with the big girls from dinner group.  The day honestly was exhausting :)  And Miss Reeve was pretty crabby!

 Melt down!

Reeve requested I take her picture :)

Mike and I planned a Valentine's weekend trip to Kansas City to have some time away together.  So, I went and got my nails done for the weekend!

Two of my favorite Valentine's!  I LOVE these two more than I ever imagined<3

On our way to Kansas City we stopped to see Mike's Grandpa Jack.  He has just recently found out he has terminal bone cancer :(  We were so glad it worked out for us to stop and see him.  I really think Mike is VERY much like his grandpa!

We finally made it to our hotel room after about 7 hours of driving that day!

Valentine's Dinner!  I love this guy SO MUCH :)  We enjoyed seafood, with some delicious grits and of course a bottle of wine!

After dinner we hit up Howl at the Moon, which is a piano bar.  We had a blast singing and dancing!

Mike hated the fancy beer he tried, but LOVED his Coors Light :)

Day 2 did not go quite as planned because we overslept.  We did make our 11am coffee tour, but were not able to tour Boulevard.  We were bummed because the Boulevard tour was one of the main reasons we went to Kansas City.  It is first come first serve though, so we missed out due to sleeping in :(

These curtains are made out of the coffee bags-I thought that was really cool!

So I took this picture of Mike listening to the demo and I find it really funny because Mike could not believe how much you can see his scalp.  It really was his first realization of how bald he is getting :)

Since our plans changed we ended up going to a shopping area called Zona Rosa and then ate at a bar and grill.  I had a delicious French Dip sandwich!!  Mike enjoyed his usual-a burger and fries :)

Joden has started soccer again this year.  It has gone SO much better now that he is 4.  He really does a great job.  I look forward to the little athlete he will become!

Random thought by me-I thought it was cool that the miles said 7777.

Reeve as Hulk

I got this seat out for Miss Anslee and of course my kids thought it would be fun to play with.  Joden looks funny in that small seat :)

Reeve was so excited to meet her new cousin Piper and of course so was I!!

I LOVED snuggling with Piper!  I asked to hold her a lot :)

Aunt Shannon with Reeve.  Shannon and Lindsey came down for state dance.  We had a blast watching dance from 7:30am til noon!

My sister and I with our baby girls!

 Mike's sisters, Reeve, and I :)

One day I picked up Reeve from daycare and this is what her hair looked like-a hot mess!

Reeve is now in a big girl bed!

I got to take a trip to Sidney all by myself due to Joden and Reeve both being sick.  More to come about this trip in March....
