Always thankful for the blessings in our lives! While enjoying these moments, we continually pray to keep serving our Lord, remembering the gifts he has given us.
Love that even at age 9 he still falls asleep next to me:)
So our group of girls that went to Waco decided to do a Joanna Gaines meal since Casie bought her cookbook! We had a great time and the food was definitely delicious:)
Enjoying the last fall Saturday mornings:
Running, brunch at the Chocolate Bar, and getting the mohawk trimmed up:) By the way, the mohawk was totally all his idea! I actually love it on him:)
One of my favorite Sunday meals is soup with cornbread, especially when they are in these dishes that my mom passed down to me!
Joden enjoyed a sleepover with his friend Lucas. Took this pic because I went to check on them and they were reading!
Joden is playing on Junior Islanders this year and this was his first game! So far it is going well and we have enjoyed watching him display the want to learn how it all works:)
My parents took a vacation to South Carolina this fall and sent me these pictures. This is my moms Aunt and Uncle. I am grateful they were able to see one another!
Team builder with my students! They did an awesome job with it:)
Now that many of the Schumachers have moved around, we decided it would be important for us all to get together. We ended up meeting in Greeley and staying at Heather's house. We enjoyed shopping, delicious food, drinks, and of course each others company!
~And sadly Lisa stepped in the dogs poop:(
I faced timed Mike that Saturday evening and he was chilling with his shirt off. The girls were cracking up at how gray Mike is getting:)
Me, Shannon, Heather, her husband Chris, Mama Brenda, Lisa-Dan's wife, and Kati
Captured me finally making it back to GI. I was so tired after staying up until 2am! Thankful I made it home safe.
Grand Islands boys football team made it to the championship football game so we decided we should go! They lost, but it was such a great game and surprisingly we stayed pretty warm.
Thanksgiving with my family in GI! First time we have not had to travel for a holiday since Reeve was 1! It felt so good to stay home and we had a great time with everyone. Also, the weather was AMAZING!
Shannon sent this picture of Mike's dad with his mom! I love it and definitely can tell they are related:)
We snuck away for some alone time at the Chocolate Bar:)
Decided to wrap their gifts ASAP so they will not find them. They are getting so much smarter the older they get!
Hung out with the Michels briefly to check out their new house! They have SO MUCH more space. Our kids love Miles and they had a blast:)
Reeve enjoyed her teammate Cam's birthday party at Skate Island!
Went to Junior Islanders with Joden and saw the girls practicing for basketball. My heart was sad as I felt like I was supposed to be in there with them for practice. I know that putting coaching on hold for now was important for me as a mom, but so hard at the same time!
Wrapped up November with a fun night in Omaha with our dinner group crew. We surprised the kids with tickets to Elf the Musical and a night in a hotel. Sadly we had to rush back the next morning due to weather, but still got to enjoy the show! Very thankful for our friendship with our GI family:)
So then, obey the commands that I have given you today; love the Lord your God and serve him with all your heart. (Deuteronomy 11:13)
