November

 November included some great food,

fun activities, friends, family, and sports!

Hunting with dad!

Basketball has begun!  We are learning lots, but have not yet won a game.  We are hopeful we do so this weekend:). Also, the Ankenys came to cheer you on for two games.

Reeve got to be a basketball buddy with the high school team and had a blast.  She was so excited she even wore her jersey:)

My parents taught me to love food!  I do like to discover healthy foods that taste good, but don't get me wrong I am up for trying something yummy and delicious as well.  What is great is my family is on board.  Here are some food photo ops from November!

Decided to treat myself to a massage during our week off from school!

Also squeezed in a date night to Kearney with my man.  We did a scan of our bodies-which was fun, ate at Cunninghams, and then did some Christmas shopping at Target and Old Navy.  It was a great night out!

Activities: decorated for Christmas, sour dough party at my dear friend Karisa's house, getting my nails done with Reeve, Joden went to an overnight church camp in Lavista, dinner group, a photo op with dinner group at church, and a fun team builder with my students.

Family time included babysitting the Borowski girls, meeting the Borowski's new puppy, and spending Thanksgiving with the Schumacher side.

October 2021

It was a fun month! Many more great memories with family and friends.  With a world that feels very discombobulated anymore, being with those we love helps to keep some positivity/joy going in life!

Mike's sister Heather and family went to Lincoln to see her son Grant who was back in town on leave from the military.  He is about done with his service and will likely be moving to Lincoln for college.  Joden and I had a prior commitment, so unfortunately we were unable to make it.

Harvest of Harmony with this sweet girl!

I Mom So Hard with some book club friends.  This is a comedy show put on by two women who are originally from Nebraska.  It was a fun night and we ran into some more book club friends there.

Husker volleyball game with dinner group friends!

Joden's Schumacher fan club and then the second picture is his last game.  I am looking forward to see what his future football journey holds.  He seems motivated and gaining more interest in the sport.

Reeve got asked to be on a random volleyball team that got put together.  She played in three tournaments with them and had fun doing so:)

Hit up the pumpkin patch with the Borowski crew.  We had fun!

Reeve was off for about a week.  She ended up with a fever for one day.  Also had a runny nose and a small cough.

Due to the fever, we had to push back our family pictures.  Good news though we got them taken and they turned out pretty good.  I just added one fun picture here:)

I always love laying out all the school pictures to see how they have changed.  It seriously goes by soooooooo fast!

Gates night at the pumpkin patch with Reeve and Emmy!

So, never in my life have I had a rash in my armpits!  I have no clue why either.  I have tried a few different things to treat it, but it still is happening.  I have heard some things about when you are around the vaccinated they can shed, what, I have no clue.  I have not been vaccinated and am around a bunch of students who have been.  So, it does make me wonder?!? I guess the rash comes as a way to push toxins out of your body.  No clue if that is true at all-ha!  Just seems ironic that I have a rash in my pits that I have never ever had before!!

Date with Joden to the iMax in Hastings.  We saw a documentary about Alaska-it was interesting and seems like a place that would definitely be worth visiting.

Squeezed in a workout with some friends on a Saturday morning!

Reeve enjoyed learning a dance from the Mary Poppins show with her good friend Brynnslee and here is also a picture of her volleyball team playing at a tournament here in town.

Date night to the woods with my guy!  We dreamt of the future property that we hope to own...

My dear friend Karisa encouraged me to make sour dough bread!  I was so proud that it turned out:)

A second Husker volleyball game with Reeve for our date.  We enjoyed some sushi beforehand and then of course the game.  It was a late night.  We got home at 12:15.

Had to include my niece who broke her leg:(. A bookshelf fell on it at daycare.  Sounds like she was a good sport about it and got some ice cream out of the deal-ha!

Got to visit the Borowski girls for Blair's second birthday!  Blair was sort of sassy/crabby, while Quinn was loving me:).

Mary Poppins musical with my kiddos.  The GISH students put this on and several of my students were in it.  It was fun to watch them do what they love!

Braces for this guy!  I am excited for him to straighten out his teeth and feel confident with his smile.  They already have changed quite a bit I feel.  Overall, it went pretty well.  He had two days of pretty intense pain, but after that he was doing much better.

Halloween festivities: Kneeknocker Woods, Trunk or Treat at church, Reeve as an old lady for trick or treating with Emmy, and some carved pumpkin fun.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
