March 2021

March has been a fun one!  We got to finally cross off some events that have been on hold for awhile.

Dress up days at school are always fun!

March started off with a trip to Springfield, MO for Joden's gymnastics meet and to visit my sister.  This trip one year ago was literally the last normal 'thing' we did prior to all of this Covid journey.  Crazy to think it has already been a year.  We had a good time and Joden placed 2nd all around.  Side note-I have had some annoying, what I think are, after Covid symptoms and had a rough Saturday!  Not fun, but what do you do?

Hit up Branson on Friday and had some fun!

The first event we finally got to do was go on our Mexico trip!  We had planned to go with friends last May, then in December, and long story short we finally got to go for spring break.  It was definitely different due to the capacity at the resort, but we still had a great time.  The first full day we were there was Joden's birthday so that was fun!  As for me I had some good and bad moments.  Darn post Covid crap is annoying!

The day after we returned we had Joden's 12th birthday party!  He chose paintball again this year and they had some wet fun and enjoyed some delicious cupcakes.  Also, why is my first born 12 already?!?

This is complete exhaustion after his party and unfortunately we came back to lots of rain, which resulted in water in the basement!

My students are enjoying being in the classroom with students and the second picture is my new room arrangement-loving it!

Mom and dad moved to town-whoop whoop!  Also, the day mom came we celebrated her birthday at Red Lobster.  So excited they are here:)

Dinner group had been cancelled in February, so we finally got together mid March.  It was so great to be together!

Dance recital pictures-I am loving the first costume for jazz!

Softball is in full swing!  Love this girl:)

Finished March with another event that got cancelled last year-state gymnastics.  Since the meet was Sunday morning early in Papillion we went up early and spent the night/hung out with family in Lincoln.  It was a great weekend and Joden took home gold individually and for his team!  So proud of him and am very interested to see what the future holds.

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
