June has gone by too fast! It just seems like everyday it is like where did the day go:). I'd rather that though because it keeps the kids active and gives us all something to do!
Baseball has been a huge chunk of summer! Joden is playing little league and also a low key travel team called the Patriots. His team has only won three games, but have come a long ways. State is in a few weekends, so hopefully we can have some success there!
Reeve enjoys hanging with all of the little ones at the games:).
Several members of the Schu Crew have been able to come watch Joden play!
This is Mason, Aden's brother. Aden is Joden's good friend. We have loved getting to know Mason. He is so cute and makes us laugh.
For my moms birthday and Mother's Day gift I took her to get her colors done. Memories are much more my style for gifts:). We had a great time. I am a summer and my mom is a spring!
VBS was a busy, yet fun week! Joden is on the God Squad and many people complimented him on how great of a job he does. We are very proud of him. I reminded him though that lots of little kids are looking up to him so he needs to make sure he is setting a good example at all times!
Got to have a picnic for Teammates. It was fun for Mike to get to meet T and then I got to meet her mom. Come to find out we know of each other from Sidney, where I graduated high school. Her mom is married to a high school classmate of mine. It really feels like such a God thing that we are matched together!
Hear Grand Island is a fun event downtown. We always go for the Allen Capital Event night and get to hang out with the Kochs and Michels. This year even more friends came. We had a good time:)
Reeve stayed later with the Koch girls and lived her best life-ha!
Did the Murph with these gals in celebration of Memorial Day! It was fun and was not as hard as I thought it'd be.
We celebrated Heather's birthday with a boat ride and some charcuterie boards. It was a fun night!
Casie turned 40 so we surprised her with aerial yoga and Wasabi. It ended up being sort of a bust because several of the girls got super nauseous from hanging upside down so much.
Archery camp for Joden! He picked this out and had a good time:)
Basketball camp! Weird that she is in the middle school group now...time is just zipping by!
New Orleans to celebrate 15 years of marriage. We had so much fun together:). I love Mike so much and love how he is up for all my adventures. It was fun to learn about New Orleans and how it became the city it is today. PS-Making time for each other is so very important and I am glad we both see that as a priority!
Pictures include: Dinner at Peche, a self-guided bike tour, a romantic anniversary dinner followed by a chill night on an outdoor patio, a ghost tour, a food tour, and a brunch at Ruby Sliper before heading out.
Once we returned it was Father's Day! These two are pretty darn blessed with the dad God gave them. It makes my heart very happy to know the example their dad sets for them. Hopefully it transfers over into their adult lives someday.
Got to watch the Borowski girls for a day! We had fun. Took them to the park, which brought back lots of memories!
Enjoyed catching some friends' games with Avery! We saw Baylor, Miles, and Brynnslee.
This tower garden has done awesome this time around!
We went to the Riverside pool to help Baylor and Madson celebrate their birthdays. We had a blast! You even ran into Brynn there:)
Chocolate Bar date while Yonda cleaned our house:)
Volleyball Camp
We ventured back to the Riverside pool one more time to hang out with Leah. She couldn't make the party Monday, so she joined us Thursday:). It was a great afternoon with friends and we even got to enjoy an adult beverage!
