July was another great summer month!
Fourth of July fun! We enjoyed the annual party at the Olsen's house, a spur of the moment party at our house with the Borowski's and Dan, Lisa, and Liv, and then enjoyed some time with the Halpines on the actual 4th!
Also, made some festive dessert, sourdough bagels, and snuck in a quick date to Kinkaider with my man:).
Wrapped up little league with two much better games! We lost both, but it was a lot closer than most of the season.
At the same time, Mike was in charge of the district little league tournament for 12 year olds. He worked his booty off and was pooped!
Sure do enjoy my workouts with friends in the summer! It is fun to workout with others:)
Took Joden on a romantic date to the Odyssey. Trying to teach him how to treat a lady someday:). We had fun and had some great conversation!
Reeve has been doing some dog sitting, cat sitting, and babysitting this summer. She got paid for her first babysitting gig down the street and the Loschen's. Also, we get to watch the Borowski girls quite a bit! We love it:)
The end of the baseball journey for Patriots this year! Love watching my boy and cheering him on. We also get to talk a lot about adversity and fighting through the challenges that sports bring.
He is definitely turning into a young man!
Reeve had a sweet opportunity to attend a camp here in GI with some of the Husker women's basketball players. She loved it!
Family pic from state baseball and end of the year party at the Sodbusters game. State went decent. Won 1, lost 2. Proud of their growth this year! Also, at the Sodbusters game they got to go out and warm up with the players. So cool:)
We stopped to see cousins on the way home from state!
The Monday after state, de-tasseling began! He did awesome and we are proud of his ability to get up in the morning and really not complain much at all.
Fun with friends and family! We enjoyed dinner in the field with Andrew and stopped at the Wood River bar. Then below I went to Lincoln for some fun with some of the Schumacher girls. We did the Farmer's Market and then went out downtown that night. Rob and Grant met up with us. I was reminded that I am definitely getting older.
Finished up open gym! Sure did love opening up the gym once a week for any girls that wanted to join us. Looking forward to hopefully growing our program and the amount of girls that love basketball in our community!
Got to enjoy dinner with my family one night! It was great to all be together:)
Reeve had a busy week with Jumpstart for middle school and a week long basketball camp. We went to lunch to celebrate her hard work!
Fun with Baylor and Karisa at their place! Also, fun with friends at dinner group at the Keaslings:)
Tried to copy Reeve--it is much harder than it looks!
Got to go out to the river a few times and had a good time. Mike leases this property for hunting and wanted to enjoy it now that baseball is done. We even invited the Borowski's once and Blair loved it:)
