August was a fun month of celebrations. Back to school and Mike's 40th birthday!
I am in my 17th year of teaching, Reeve is a 7th grader, and Joden is a freshman! Time sure does zip along!

2nd annual lake trip to Calamus with our dear friends! Jace got to join us and we got to meet her family. It was a great weekend!
Mike's 40th birthday was a blast! Mike wanted to run the State Fair Relay and did so with his brother and two brother in laws. We got shirts made for fun and cheered him on!
Then that night we had a kind of a surprise party for him! He sort of connected the dots as the night went on, but he had a great time:). Thanks to Halpines for hosting and Chris for cooking meet and all the other things people helped with!
Homecoming was early at GISH this year! It was the same night as Mike's party, so Aden's mom helped get Joden there.
