December....an exciting time of year!

One of mom's favorite coffee places is Baristas in Grand Island, so we often will go on the weekend to enjoy a lazy morning at the coffee shop!

Mike and I actually went to a Christmas party and had a decent time, but of course Miss Reeve was up around 3:30am and then up for the day at 6am:(

Walmart shopping with mom!  She was so tired!

A good friend Rachel got these name straws for the kids and they LOVE them!  Thanks Rachel for thinking of us:)

Mike and I have vowed to do monthly dates, so for this month I chose to have us go to a Nebraska Women's Basketball game.  After the game we went to eat sushi and have a few beers!  We had a great time and enjoyed getting to see the new arena!

Enjoying a fun night at the Kastens!  Katie got this white elephant gift at one of our Learning Facilitator meetings, so her and Kelly tried it on:)

 More straw fun:)

I thought Reeve looked cute this day for daycare so I snapped a photo:)

Joden is now at a new daycare and really only has 2 'boy' friends that are from his previous daycare.  Most of our friends have girls otherwise:)  So, he had been begging me to have a friend over from preschool.  Therefore, Stratton ended up coming to our house to play.  I also took them out to Dairy Queen for ice cream!  The boys did great and we hope to have him over again:)

I LOVE my work schedule because it allows me to attend some of Joden's preschool functions.  I got to go see his Christmas party where they made reindeer food and they ate cupcakes, eggnog, and juice.  It was so cute because he was the last one to finish his treats-he savored every bite!

The kids and I went to a GISH girls basketball game and they LOVED it!  We will have to hit up a few more this winter.

Mike's Christmas party for work.  We went and ate at the Holiday Inn and had a few drinks in the bar at the hotel.

The kids are starting to play more like this together:)  It is fun to see!

A lady at work was selling these large cookies to decorate for $5 so I got one for each kid.  They loved it and it was well worth it-what a great deal!

We also enjoy going to Big Apple Bagel occasionally for a bagel and coffee.  Joden enjoyed a chocolate muffin-can you tell?

I thought this was a cute picture of my two boys while we were watching a movie.  Can you tell they have the same type of hair:)

Since we were without family on Christmas Eve we decided to go enjoy some yummy pastries at Panera.  They were delicious!

All dressed up for church-they looked so cute!

 Christmas Eve jammies!

Mimosas on Christmas morning-they were delicious!

Christmas morning at our house!  It was just the 4 of us and we had a great time:)

 She just loves her sunglasses!

Christmas with my side of the family!

My oldest sister and my niece Avery who is 9!

My other sister Lindsey with her daughter Anslee who is 8 months old.

Of course me and Miss Reeve who is now 2 1/2:)

Avery is so great with Reeve.  She got a mini iPad for Christmas and was letting Reeve play on it:)

 Just being lazy with dad!

All of the cousins on my side!  Avery is 9, Owen 6, Delayna 5, Joden 4, Reeve 2, and Anslee 8 months.

WE HAD A GREAT DECEMBER AND ARE THANKFUL FOR THE MANY BLESSINGS IN OUR LIFE:)
