December for sure had it's highs and lows, but believing in Jesus and knowing that he made the ultimate sacrifice for us all, outweighs any earthly stress that we have!
Basketball ended for Westridge and now Reeve's middle school sports are officially over. I cannot believe how fast that journey went and that both kids will be in high school next year.
Reeve had several musical events in December. Her music concert at school, one with her youth choir group at church, and then the Sounds of Christmas that she chose to do at church.
Sadly it was literally a year ago that the six of us got together for a night out! We finally found a night that worked for all of us and had a great time:)
These two are on the same level of naughty! Love the lifelong friends we have made in GI!
Reeve's basketball team did a gift exchange for Christmas and had a blast! Thanks to the Nelsons for hosting!

Volunteered at the Grand for Educators Rising. We had a great time:)
Made some yummy cinnamon rolls for our friends for Christmas!
Tradition at our house is decorating cookies right before Christmas! It is always a good time:)
Joden came down with something awful right when his moratorium from wrestling started. So, he did not make it to Christmas Eve service. We were headed to Lincoln, but decided to wait and go on Christmas morning.
We made it to Lincoln on Christmas Day. Joden and Mike opened gifts and then spent most of the day at Shannon's house resting. It was a bummer, but nothing you can do about it. Reeve and I made the most of our time with family.

Lots of wrestling! It has been a grind. He is learning so much this season, but wow, it is just one tough match after another. Always proud and always letting him know we love him!
I think at every meet their team has placed 2nd!
