May Shenanigans

Let the outdoor work begin!  Project #1 involved tearing up the yard to put in a patio.  Here is the before.

After several years of being invited to Do the Brew, we decided to go!  It was a fun time with lots of beer tasting:)  

Two girls (Jeno and Shawna) I met this year through work.  I have enjoyed getting to know them and look forward to more fun times to come!

We ran in to our good friend Abby!  

The Rossi's were our hosts...thanks!  We had a great time with you both:)

The next day we were able to complete the patio.  We have already had many relaxing nights out there!

This is project #2.  We fixed up the screened in porch area and it too is very relaxing!

Next up was a wonderful weekend of celebrating Mike's brothers wedding!  We could not be more excited for Dan and of course to have Lisa officially join the Schumacher family!  Love you both:)

Poor Joden did not feel well all weekend.  He had a bad case of strep and all he wanted to do was lay down:(  Of course I did not want him sick, but it sure helped us keep our eye on him!

We finished decorating around 8:30 on Friday night!

I thought it would be fun to get Reeve's hair done for the wedding.  It turned out great:)

These two truly are two of the most genuine guys (in my opinion:)!  Love them both!

Still not feeling well:(  He crashed on the cement floor even with extremely loud music playing!  For anyone who knows Joden that is a definite sign that he is not feeling well.

 She always stretches her legs in the car.  She will literally be in this position for 5 minutes at a time:)  Crazy girl!

She LOVES to play with her babies.  She sure got them all packed up and ready to go:)

Joden officially is signed up to be a Gates Gator.  Pretty crazy to think he is already going to be a Kindergartener.  He is really excited and would love to go today!

The kids both got to participate in Time to Shine this year for gymnastics:)

Joden got to take his best buddy Cooper to gymnastics with him.  They were so excited to go in so they waited by the door:)

Both kids had programs for the end of the year for daycare and Joden also got to graduate from preschool!  It is always fun to watch them perform:)

There signs explain the picture, but crazy to think how fast preschool went!  It seems like we just had Joden not long ago!

We spent Memorial Day weekend just relaxing at home!  It was great to just lay low after the wedding fun and end of the school year festivities.

One night Joden decided to start drawing and he told me this is him with his friend Chloe:)  They are holding up umbrellas.  I was impressed with his thinking!

I decided to go with a mom do!  It is so easy to do my hair now, so I love that part about it.

We went to our old sitter's sons birthday party.  The kids had a blast!

I thought this was quite the position to take a nap in:)  It is also a great ending picture for May...we had lots of fun, which of course wears us all out!  Looking forward to some time off work and of course fun in the sun!
