A.P.R.I.L

April

Mike and I ran in Race for Grace, which is a 10K.  As always, he pushed me along and we ran it in about 50 minutes.  Love that this is a hobby we can do together!

Mike's sister and her kids also came down this weekend, so we took them to the races for their first time ever.  We had a few crabby kids, but otherwise it was fun!

Next up was my 29th birthday.  It was a work day so we celebrated by having dinner on the patio at El Toro.  The weather was beautiful and it was great spending it with those that I love dearly.  My sister also joined us and even watched the kids for us later that night so we could enjoy a martini at the Martini Bar.  It was a great birthday!

The next several days the weather was beautiful, so we hit up Kids Kingdom, Cold Stone, and even spent some time outside at our house :)

For dinner group for April we chose to do a no kid night and went to the Danger game.  It was fun, but boy is it loud in there!

Our church always has an Easter egg hunt for the kids the week before Easter.  Due to the weather it was indoors.  This is Reeve with her best friend Ellie!

Here was the snowy weather!

Don't those Easter eggs look sort of out of place with snow in the background?

Joden finally got to move downstairs at gymnastics, so now he is doing some new activities.  He was so excited!

We spent Easter back in Sidney!  Mike stayed home to do several tasks that we just never seem to have time for.  We sure did miss him, but he did enjoy some time alone and some time to get things done around the house!

While home we also celebrated my nieces 1st birthday!

Of course we had to decorate some eggs!

My beautiful sister Lindsey :)

 My nephew Owen

Me with two of my neices-Anslee and Piper <3

She was wore out!

It was so cold while we waited for the Easter egg hunt so we had to snuggle up!

There is a neat antique shop in Sidney so this is where I found my amazing bakers rack for my patio!

Anslee's 1st birthday party!

Easter morning!  It was gorgeous out.

After church the kids and I ended up going down to Mike's grandmas house and had a blast with the Schumachers.  The kids were pooped after all the fun they had this weekend.

Our last big event in April was celebrating Reeve's third birthday!  We went to Hall County Park and enjoyed the outdoors.  It was a great party with lots of wind :)

Avery and Delayna (Reeve's cousins)

 Reeve's friends Ellie and Kennadi

 Aunt Kati with cousin Finn

Mike and our dear friend Brad

The girls!  Katie and Casie-more great friends!

This was truly the worst cake we have made :(  But it tasted great!

The birthday girl.  Love her so much :)

On the actual day of her birthday she got the movie Frozen!

From baby to little miss sassy thing.  We love her so very much and look forward to the many years ahead!

Thanks Uncle Dan and Aunt Lisa for the doll!  She named her Charlee :)

What a great April we had with many friends and family!  We truly feel very fortunate for the blessings in our lives :)
