The final days of summer...

The final days of summer....

A fellow LF has a wonderful cabin by a lake!  She was having a Thirty One party so the kids got to enjoy the lake.  Hopefully some day this is the type of place Mike and I can own.  He can hunt and I can lay in a floaty on the lake with a drink in my hand:)

Joden had a blast shopping for a few school clothes!

He even changed in the car on the way home because he was so excited:)

Mike brought this huge paper home from work so we decided to paint it!

We hit up Island Oasis one last time!

Mike's sister Heather and her three kids came to visit.  We enjoyed a wonderful evening on the patio!

Lainey-6th grade, Reeve-preschool, Joden-Kindergarten, Grant-9th grade, Natalie-4th grade!

Joden literally was ready for school in May once we registered him....the day finally came in August!  He was stoked!

Celebrating a dinner group friends 30th birthday!  Now I am the last one in my 20s-ha ha:)

This was actually early in the night-this is just how much fun we have together!

Love this guy lots!

These two have given me such an amazing gift-being a mom!  I love them so very much <3

They really get along fairly well-this is Joden helping his sister put in her Wii game:)  Love it!

Mike has a tradition with the kids every morning.  He shares his bowl of cereal with them:)

Abby is a dear friend of mine that I have gotten to know here in Grand Island.  Our boys are a few weeks apart and have enjoyed growing up together.  I enjoyed helping her celebrate her bridal shower and bachelorette party and I look forward to helping her celebrate her wedding day in October!

One perk of living in Grand Island is the State Fair!  Of course we had a blast:)  We decided to go for Mike's birthday!

Joden's teacher sent this picture to me!  They celebrated the end of summer at school and rode on this train:)  He LOVED it!

This is a picture we took at work:)  These are just some of the wonderful people I get to work with at Howard!

She often falls asleep right outside her door of her bedroom....she is crazy because she truly has the most comfortable mattress in our house!

Joden is playing flag football this year!  So far he is actually paying attention and trying to soak it in.  He has his first game here soon....it could be interesting!

We decided to go to the first varsity football game so Joden could truly see what football was like!  We made Joden watch the first quarter and then he just ran around:)

First Husker football Saturday and storytime at the library:)  These two love making crazy faces.

Mike's dad brother and his wife came down for Labor Day weekend.  The kids loved picking on Papa Schu while he was napping, playing a lot with Dan and Lisa, and eating at Fuji!  The kids ate sushi for their first time and LOVED it:)
