July thankfully was a slower month for our family, yet still was filled with so many reasons to be thankful!
I
won a coupon at work for Paradise donuts so we rode our bikes there one
morning for a yummy treat:) Joden was insistent on riding his bike
there and was exhausted and sweaty by the time we got home!
Dr. Reeve was fixing me up and Joden was being incredibly helpful by sweeping all the acorns off the patio!
For the 4th of July we went to my parents' house and spent the weekend with my family for the first time since Thanksgiving!
Reeve smooching her cousin Anslee!
Luckily my parents live very close to Lake McConaughy so we got to enjoy two full days at the lake! Followed by some fireworks at night.
My sister and nephew Owen!
Not the best picture, but all of the cousins were playing in the living room at my parents, so I had to snap a picture:)
So incredibly thankful for the freedom we have in our country! I absolutely enjoy fun times such as these with family and friends:)
So my niece Anslee needed to potty. She took off her pants and went and told her dad. It was funny so I snapped a photo!
The 4th of July weekend wore out these two! They crashed early on Sunday night that weekend:)
Easter weekend Mike's sister Heather snapped these photos of our family! They turned out great and I will soon need to order a few more canvases to add to our house!
One of the best qualities of Mike is his patience-especially
when it is so hot out you sweat just standing there! But when a 6 year
old is eager to ride without training wheels you cannot say no:) We
are still working on it, but in no time I am sure we will get there!
As I know many of you see on Facebook, we do date night once a month to make sure that we devote 1 on 1 time to each other at least 12 times a year:) As many people know, marriage is a work in progress so for us making time for special dates is very important and we do really look forward to these times together! Love you Michael<3
Joden will get to sit in the tree stand with Mike at least once this year, so while in Kearney we picked up some gear for him!
Miniature
golf was on the bucket list for the summer, so we went on a Sunday
afternoon. It started out not too hot and by the end of it we were a
sweaty mess:) Still had a blast though!
Just trying on his tight, cut off shorts for the Lyle softball tourney!
Back to Sidney for a wedding so I got to spend some time with my sweet niece! I just love snuggling with her:)
Before hitting up the pool, we went to visit my niece Charlee's grave site!
Went back for a high school friends wedding and also got to hang out with one of my besties from high school Meagan and her daughter Kylie!
After the bride and groom danced they pretended to be them. Then the even smooched like the bride and groom <3
We also got to hang out with Mike's brother Dan and his wife Lisa! Love you guys:)
Before we left town that Sunday we enjoyed breakfast at Perkins....maybe Reeve didn't :)
They crashed in the car! Must have had way too much fun :)
As always it is a must to remind myself of God's grace and his love...
Psalm 86:15 But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
Your family pictures are beautiful!
