The last two months have been crazy!
For whatever reason this year was the year for many family events. Starting in April we knew we would be incredibly busy until early July. I think God reminded me that I had done way too much and it was time to take a week long rest on the couch due to getting rocked with pneumonia. Luckily it fell during a week that was doable to be on the couch. I did have to back out of a few events, but in the end it was well worth it! Who would have thought I would get pneumonia in June, but honestly I have a feeling my body was working on it for awhile due to having some low platelets back in May. So here is what we were busy with...
1. Both kids had field day during the last week of school.

So here is what we were busy with...
1. Both kids had field day during the last week of school.
2. Reeve's soccer team was rocking it in their tournament.
3. Baseball was in full swing. This was Mother's Day I believe...
4. Time to Shine for both kiddos.

5. Let's be real--good thing she was reading the Bible for us all :)

6. Squeezed in date night somehow. We went to drink night in downtown GI, which was delicious and fun!

7. Trip to Denver for Kati's bachelorette, which of course was a blast!
8. Took off the following Monday, had lunch with the kids, and made dinner which we enjoyed out back on the patio!
9. I think I may have some events here out of order, but either way we also had our nephew Grant's graduation.
Randoms-Mike took Joden to the woods at some point and our wreath out front was home to a family of birds!
10. More baseball. This was a double header in Columbus.
11. I mean why not squeeze something else in-Joden insisted on being in run club. He convinced Mike to run with him in the rain:)
Random of Reeve growing teeth behind teeth that had not fallen out yet!
12. Soccer championship for Reeve. They ended up getting 2nd. Reeve was goalie and got a pin from the other team for being a notable player-my heart was pretty full that night!
13. 2nd time in the camper out at Morman Island. It was Memorial weekend so we got our site early. We camped out there during the last week of school so here was our last day of school pics!
Pics with all my kiddos on the last day of school!
14. Dinner group hosted by us out at our campsite. Definitely one of my favs!
15. Why not, in the same weekend, run off to my parents at the lake to celebrate my dads 65th birthday. In all honesty I wouldn't have missed it for the world-he is so lucky to still be alive. Very thankful that God has blessed us with more time on this physical earth with our dad!
Random pic of what siblings do at baseball games when they go way past bedtime!
16. Our first trip to the pool and this girl is so much braver this year!
17. Reeve's team ended up champs in a small softball tournament! (hey who cares about the logistics-they won:)
18. Let's throw in a wild girls trip to Waco, TX because who isn't obsessed with Chip and Jo :) And let's not forget that I drove the pickup with the Puma behind me 12 hours there and 12 back....holy shit, we survived and it all went pretty damn smooth!
20. Random pic here, but the others are of friend day at the pool :)
Random pic from boot camp-honestly I love the sky more than anything. Also, our instructor sent this. I am not that crazy workout freak that asks others to take pics of me working out:)
21. Mike's sister got married at Lake Mac right on the beach! And this is when the pneumonia symptoms began and were in full swing by that Saturday...I felt as if I drank the whole bar on Saturday morning, but I had not :(

22. And I thought I was seriously dying of a brain tumor because my head hurt SO bad. Finally, I went in to the doctor the following Monday to discover I had pneumonia. Spent an hour getting some IV fluids to help me feel better!
Unfortunately Father's Day was me on the couch and Mike being a rockstar dad! Then there is Reeve and how she hung out with me on the couch:)
We got in a lot of College World Series!
And watched a classic-My Girl
Reeve loves to stretch-I have no idea why and truly do not know what it does for her. She has done this ever since she was little and she does it so long/hard that she is really sweaty when she finishes:) As weird as it is, I find it incredibly funny!
23. While I had pneumonia Reeve of course had state softball, so Mike stepped in to coach for me:) What a guy!
24. Last regular season games in Kearney!
25. Had to do some curriculum work so I brought Joden with me and this is how he entertained himself.
26. June ended with the celebration of Nate and Kati's wedding, Mike's youngest sister. We had a wonderful time and love adding Nate to our crazy Schu crew!

And now we look forward to resting in July :)
