Ahhhh July you were amazing!

July has been such a wonderful month due to life slowing down, allowing time for relaxation, and enjoying some much needed family time!

This was on the way home from Aunt Kati's wedding :)

I went 17 days without working out...longest I can remember!

Reeve has lost 10 teeth and many of those were in the last three to four months!

So Joden's first gymnastics class of the summer was to be after baseball season.  Ironically, their state got moved back so he was double booked this night.  Even more ironic was that he was the only boy at gymnastics so he worked out nonstop for an hour...and the kicker was then he had to go to an hour and a half of baseball.  Let's just say it was not his best practice :(

Two of the ten teeth got pulled so we could create some space in her mouth for the other teeth to come in less crooked!

4th of July party on the 3rd at our dear friends-the Olsen's!

After all the chaos of our summer and with the 4th being on a Wednesday we stayed home and had a pretty low key holiday.  New tradition (maybe) is we made homemade ice cream.  It was good, but really heavy on the tummy!  We also watched Mrs. Doubtfire for the kids' first time.  Mike and I realized there is quite a bit of adult humor that we missed as kids :)

When we went out to light our fireworks it was chilly and really windy so Reeve, Zaley, and I watched from the back of my car!

State baseball in Papillion/Council Bluffs was up next.  Joden was so excited the day we left, he woke up at like 4 in the morning.  Therefore, he fell asleep on the way there.

Murdoch's on the right here took a group of them to see a movie-one where they ate dinner while they watched the movie!

Of course Reeve's team also played their last tournament the same weekend.  So, Reeve and I were back and forth between Lincoln and Omaha all three days that weekend!
Joden's team played pretty darn good and got 2nd place at state!

Cousin Livie even made an appearance!

The four coaches and their sons.

A nap on Monday was needed after all the fun had at state baseball!

Family/home time was definitely what we all needed!

Shannon visited so we got a sitter and went out for a bit!

Our nephew Grant is at boot camp and we can see some pictures on Facebook.  I screenshot this one because I think he is in there running.  We have been praying for him and have sent him some cards in the mail.

Sleepover with her friend Addie.  We got down a birthday gift to entertain them!  I love saving some of them to use at a later date:)

Baseball team end of the season pool party!

Both of the kiddos did various camps this summer.  They were mainly through the parks and rec and Stuhr Museum.  Reeve did Cowpokes and Samantha, as well as some at Stolley Park.  Joden did Goldrush as well as several at Stolley Park.

Finally were able to embark on our first true camping weekend where we arrived on Friday and did not leave until Sunday!  We went to Bader Park and truly had a blast.

Promised Reeve a bike ride to Paradise Donuts since she learned to ride her bike.  We went all the way there only to find out they are closed on Mondays :(  So we settled for a Rice Krispie from Walgreens :)

Sent this pic to my R+F lady to show her the progress my face has made!

Back for Valentine's Day Mike got me a gift card for dance lessons.  I had just said that I always wanted to learn how to properly do the country swing.  So, we finally got to use our gift card here in July :)  We did private lessons for the first one, but we are going to do the group lessons in September at the Chocolate Bar to see if we like that too!

Made some more great summer memories!  Coffee dates, holding cats, and hanging out with cousins before the Diemoz clan officially moved to Missouri.  We sure are sad they are going further away, but also excited for their new journey!

Reeve and I spent a whole Saturday in Kearney on a girl date.  We went to Target, had lunch at Kyoto, went and saw the play Annie, shopped at Old Navy, and grabbed some DQ on the way out of town.  We had a blast and I look forward to many more of them in the future!

The boys were gone that weekend to the Peetz Schumacher softball tourney and Joden returned with these sweet shades:)

To wrap up July I taught the kids Kings on the Corner, which we learned as kids from our neighbor in Broken Bow.  It was a bit slow for them, but maybe we can play again on a camping trip!

We are forever grateful for this month of July!  It has been great to get time to relax and re-focus on what is most important in our lives.  We pray that others may be blessed with time to re-energize!
