September--You were a good month to us and we are grateful for sure!
Fall sports kicked off! Joden is in flag football and soccer. Reeve is in soccer and volleyball. It sure is fun to watch them learn and become a little more skilled each year. Luckily, the weather was great for most of their games!
Love watching Reeve be goalie:)
Joden is a throw in hog:) He tries to throw or kick the ball whenever he gets the chance!
We spent our Labor Day weekend up at Calamus and tanked down the river. We had a great time enjoying the great outdoors and our time together. Looking forward to more camping memories next summer!
Reeve and I love going on girl dates together! It is so much fun having a girl to enjoy girl adventures with. We went to Hastings to the Junkstreet there and found some fun items!
Pretty cool this year they both are the same team-Dortmund. Had to capture a photo of them goofing off together in their uniforms:)
I have been trying different recipes from my Shred recipe book and this was a much healthier version of a scotcheroos and it wasn't too bad!
Let these two pick their outfits for their first day of school and they did pretty darn good!
Girls night with some book club friends! We had a blast and were pretty pumped about our parking pass that we got hooked up with!
Our dear friends, the Jakobs, host a drinking event every year and it is always a great time. Especially when I get to go with this hunk and hold such a sweet baby:)
Another healthy treat-pumpkin spice balls!
Love when they go so hard they literally crash! That is a sign of a great day:)
Salad in a Jar party with some great friends!
Reeve is in Character Council this year and she got to help at an event for Veteran's with her good friend Emmy!
Random school day where we took time to straighten her hair!
First volleyball game!
We got a tad worried about this mosquito bite, but by the next morning it was much better!
When you have been the only boy at dinner group for just about 10 years, this is what often happens. Love that he just goes along with it--it sure was a great laugh when he came out!
First time at Juice Stop for the kids! It is pretty yummy:)
Our great friends' little guy, Miles, goes up to the children's sermon at our church with Reeve. It is so sweet to see her take care of him and also to see how he lets her:)
Mike and I officially completed a month of dance lessons at the Chocolate Bar. Our class was the country swing. It was a fun/different date to do as a couple. We highly recommend it!
Miles loves Joden too!
Last weekend sure was a cold soccer day! We survived and Reeve and I hit up the Chocolate Bar afterwards.
Joden had a buddy stay the night and I thought it was cute how they pushed their chairs together:)
“You are my God, and I will give thanks to you;
you are my God; I will extol you.
This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
you are my God; I will extol you.
This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
