A month of forever memories...

October: A joyous month had by all of us:)

A snapshot into my classroom!  One goal I often try to obtain is movement for my students.

Hit up a GI volleyball game and Reeve's babysitter brought her a candy bar when they announced her.  We also got lucky and got to hang out with Ava-she was so sweet!  We enjoyed our time with her:)

Final soccer games! I sure enjoyed coaching Reeve's team this year and looking forward to doing this again in the future possibly.

Joden has really come a long way with soccer.  We are now thinking this might be one of his main sports??  He even finally scored his first goal:)  So proud of him and his hard work!

Love doing one on one dates with the kids and this fall I thought it would be awesome to take Reeve to a volleyball game.  We scalped tickets and ended up getting great seats and had an amazing night together.  Reeve watched every minute of the game and loved it:)  Looking forward to more of this in our futures!

Took a photo of Reeve's picture she drew for her cousin Grant who is away at boot camp.  Thought this was quite the picture, so I snapped a photo for some great memories!

As the kids get older snuggles are not as common, so capturing the ones I get are a must!

Joden being creative at Makerspace. What an awesome opportunity that the GIPS kids have!

Love seeing the school picture progression!  Time is flying, so always important to embrace/enjoy each day God gives us on this earth:)

Life slowed down a bit, so enjoyed some fun times at home!

Playing around with my hair-I want to be good at doing braids such as these, so I keep practicing!

Making dreams come true!  Our Disney World trip:)
Day 1 involved traveling to Florida.  Sadly we did not get to bed until 2am, but we made it safely and that is what matters most!

Loved Reeve's reaction the first time we took off in the airplane!
Delayed flight meant time for beer!

Day 2 was our first day at Disney World and we started with Magic Kingdom!
OMG it was so hot when we first got going and eventually it cooled down some!
Enjoyed lunch at Chef Mickey where we got to meet some characters. The kids enjoyed it and so did Mike and I:)
Next up we were able to enjoy shows and rides at Magic Kingdom!

Sadly, we were not aware of this Halloween party going on so we got kicked out of the park at 6pm.  We were bummed because we had planned to see the firework show.  We ended up going back to the pool at our resort.  While Mike was ordering us a drink he was flirting with this lady:)

Day 3 was Hollywood Studios.  This truly was a great day filled with lots of shows, rides, and a good/fun meal at the end of the day at an old time cafe.  The waitresses are supposed to be sort of mean-the kids loved it and she took my cell phone away for being on it:)

Day 4 was Seaworld.  We loved it so much!  This was our favorite because we got to do a lot and the animal shows were amazing.  Another highlight for Joden was the thrilling roller coaster rides.

Day 5 was Animal Kingdom which was also great! One of our favorite Disney rides was in this park.  It was Flight of Passage, which is from the movie Avatar.  The realism of the ride was unreal!  The kids were so pumped up afterwards about how awesome it was.
We did pretty good with waiting, but there were a few occasions for all of us where we had enough:)

Love this action shot!  Reeve was closing her eyes because she was afraid:)
We really did not realize it, but we ended up eating a second character meal.  In our parent eyes it was not necessary, but the kids sure enjoyed it!

At our resort there was an amazing arcade.  We decided to try it towards the end of our trip so they did not ask to go every night:)  Of course the kids loved it!

Day 6 was us relaxing by the pool and recovering from all of our fun at the parks!

Last meal was a Hibachi grill that was actually right by our resort!  It was delicious and we had tons of food.

Day 7 we traveled home and it went very smooth!  We are so very thankful for the memories we were able to make and that we made it home safely.

Our dear friends, the Michels, had their new baby boy Turner while we were away.  It was a must that we went and loved on him that night! We are in love:)

Last volleyball game!

Livie visited us briefly and we loved loving on her so much!  We wish all of our family lived much closer.

Trunk or Treat at our church!  Reeve got to sit in a State Trooper car and you also got to perform for Hip Hop.  It was a beautiful and fun night!

Halloween fun with our Fort Night guy and Athena, a Greek Goddess.  Also, a throwback above of my sisters and I:)

Halloween night was beautiful and we all had a great time!
