May 2024

May is always a busy one, but always full of all the feelings!  Stress with all that comes at the end of a school year, joy for wrapping up seasons and activities, and excitement for summer.

Spring baseball for GI was definitely a learning curve.  I feel like so many parts of parenting and being a part of various sports groups/activities, is like going in blind.  You never really know what they heck is going on and you hope you are making it to all that you are supposed to and what not.  Ha!  We survived and it was fun to watch the boys gel together throughout the season.

Reeve helped me with concessions for Teammates.  We had a good time together:)

This kid has always been a napper once he slows down:)

It is always bittersweet when my time with my seniors comes to an end.  This was a great group whom I will miss dearly.  Many of them are sticking with the education route and are going to make phenomenal educators!

Reeve and I got to have a fun weekend together.  We threw in a Omaha Supernovas game because we were headed that way for a Lauren Dangle concert, which was a Christmas gift.  She also wanted to go shopping to spend some of her money that she got for her birthday and what she earned from pet sitting and babysitting.  Then it just worked out that her first basketball tournament was Saturday and Sunday in Omaha.

Mother's Day photo op in bed when they tucked me in-ha!  Sure do love being their mama!

Sourdough shenanigans.  We had a great time:)

Last day of school picture:). 17 years for me, end of 9th grade for Joden, and end of 7th grade for Reeve

Legion ball has begun!  Joden is on Tom Dinsdale:)

Family bike ride when all of a sudden your Friday night is open!  We had a great time:)

Memorial Day weekend fun with family:)

Off to Europe Joden goes for 14 days with his wrestling team!

Training session and a picture of Joden with the guy he wrestled in his first competition. He won!

Tried a new to us coffee/boba shop.  It was great!
